Jason is a versatile leader with a passion for environmental stewardship and social justice. His unique background provides him with a holistic perspective and the ability to strategize in complex situations. In addition, he has proven he can manifest theory into action under the most challenging of circumstances. Apart from serving as Treasurer of the IPNW Board, Jason works as the Director of Finance & Operations at East Shore Unitarian Church in Bellevue, and leads the startup company ZILA Works, developing a bioplastic from industrial hemp oil. Jason is an exoneree, wrongfully incarcerated in Nicaragua for ~2 years. Jason and his Nicaraguan wife, Scarleth, have two boys, Jabu & Jazz.
